商学院culture fit有多重要

很多前辈讲，除了教授和商学院水平，申请时都要考虑program culture fit or not， 对international friendly or not, hands-on or hands-off。 的确每次面试都觉得不同学校有不同的culture, 却说不出是怎么不同、是适合自己的还是不适合的。

问题1：Acc PhD progam

international friendly 的: 比如OSU, USC？还有哪些呢
UNC UTAustin是比较注重语言和工作能力的，还有呢?

有名的hands-off可能就是chicago, 其他的呢？
hands-on可能是MIT, UNC, Michigan, what else?

问题2：
这个culture fit的问题到底有多重要？？在网上看，学术水平好的项目的Placement都不差 so does culture matter or not? if so, to what degree?

I learnt it from two current accounting PhD students at MIT. They think that most of the professors there tend to be hands-on with students, pay a lot of attention to the PhD training, and are actively working with students. It may be biased considering they may not have any experience with other programs but that's how they feel right now.
