首先我认为providing them with high-energy feed, and milking them regularly是做 takes care to keep them cool的伴随状语啊!是为了具体说明如何 takes care to keep them cool的

其次未划线部分已经出现了them说明文中一定有个名词复数，而farmer 只是单数啊，所以 them 指代的是 Holstein cows ，所以Ｅ用了单数是不对的！

对啊，终于见到一个空前统一的贴子啦。是A没错啦，主句前面的for就决定了主语只能是farmer而不是cow鸟

我的选项E当中 Holstein cows 是复数，而你的是单数。

我的意思是

E中如果是复数，该题目答案应该是E .
