有关Oxford MBA申请

看见一些战友问有关Oxford的申请，感觉第二轮申的人会多。本人第一轮录取了，先小小回馈下CD。

首先是关于语言成绩。是否一定要TOEFL 110。我听说去年Cambridge和Oxford MBA都是100分为线，今年变110了。我虽然没有问过学校，但从收到Offer的情况来看，上面有句话关于"academic condition"，因而我觉得如果暂时没有110，也可以申，只不过届时补个语言成绩。当然，建议给学校发个邮件确认（最好邮件里提下自己的overall quality）。我个人认为学校不可能只看110以上的人的申请材料，比如如果考了107-109的，我认为可以申。

第二，是否一定要GPA 3.5 or its equivalent. 我认为前面的“2.1 degree”才是重点，我个人符合2.1 degree，但GPA 3.5不到。于是发邮件问学校，回答是Make other parts as strong as possible。而且，上回招生官来CD答疑，好像提到如果GPA 2点几的情况下，very strong GMAT或许也能弥补。

第三，面试问题还是比较常规的，why MBA，why school, leadership story等。好像比较需要注意的问题是对essay要了解，可能会直接问和Essay相关的问题。这样做也有道理，以防申请人找人代笔。

这几天工作还是挺忙的。而且还要忙着准备选学院，申请Chevening Scholarship什么的（不过那个Scholarship好像要求必须是政府工作人员。。。可能白弄了）。先发个贴攒人品。

Big Congratulations !!

I am planning to apply for round 2, but I am still struggling to write essay 2, which is to describe what I can contribute to the MBA class. Appreciate if you can share us some insights in writing that essay or any tips for the interviews.

I also read from the oxford website that they only did the interviews in Singapore/Oxford/San Francisco/India for round 1, may I know if Oxford required you to fly to any of these cities for the interview? Do you know if there is any exception, such as interview with alumni in home city?
