Main idea: The scientists's recent research suggestes that the extinction of large carnivores is not result from the declining prey. This conclusion contradicts to the previous studies.

Previous hypothesis:
>>change of climate, combining with human activities leads to food shortage, therefore kill off the large carnivores
>>prey decline→predators chomp on bones→change in teeth wear pattern

Previous findings and conclusion:
>>large carnivores have 3 times the number of broken teeth of contemporary other predators
>>caused by tense food competiton

New findings and conclusion:
>>by using more accurate technologies and compare the wear pattern of XX to resemble present-day carnivores, the scientists do not reveal significant evidence to support the previous conclusion
>>it implys that the prey did not declines

New explanations about the previous findings: the high rate of broken teeth
>>caused by taking down preys rather than feeding process
>>the larger size of the animal, the more posibilities of having broken teeth

Conclusion: the extinction of large carnivores is much unlikely caused by declining preys because of the evidence on their teeth. In contrast, those mammals seemed to live good lives before extinction.

Condensata in Africa could stay a vibrant blue color for they have been picked.

The scientists from Uni Camb want to extract the pigment from it but find nothing. After research, they find that
the condesata has a intensed colored tissued which is unknown in plants.

Most of colors in biological are produced by the pigment. Example of green .

Main idea: Find the great cats' wear pattern of the teeth and explore the reason
Body:
Scientist found the phenomenon of the wear pattern for those large predators.
Researchers thought it is due to the climate changes, which made their food less, gradually caused their teeth changing.
The latest study used a new technique DMTA to produce three-demensional image of the surface of a tooth. It is considered more accurate.
Researchers argue  that it is more likely the result of increased breakage when taking down prey instead of when feeding.
The larger size of the extinct carnivores and their prey can help explain the large number of broken teeth.
Researchers find the study but they cannot determine the exact cause of their demise.
