Worried about是形容词短语修饰主语administration. 描述一种状态(the administration was worried about) 如果是用分词选项中有Worrying about…., 是不是也是对的呢? 或是此句就只能用worried about?

见另一例:

OG-45: Delighted by the reported earnings for the first quarter of the fiscal year, the company manager decided to give her staff a raise () (我觉得这里用delighted 不仅有描述状态The manager was delighted 更重要的是有被动的意思, 所以和42题的解题思路不同.

If I recall properly, 'Worried' is always preferable to 'Worring'.

Here is another example.

721.        The current administration, being worried over some foreign trade barriers being removed and our exports failing to increase as a result of deep cuts in the value of the dollar, has formed a group to study ways to sharpen our competitiveness.

(A) being worried over some foreign trade barriers being removed and our exports failing

(B) worrying over some foreign trade barriers being removed, also over the failure of our exports

(C) worried about the removal of some foreign trade barriers and the failure of our exports

(D) in that they were worried about the removal of some foreign trade barriers and also about the failure of our exports（C）

(E) because of its worry concerning the removal of some foreign trade barriers, also concerning the failure of our exports

Your OG-45 is correct.

I can memorize that "Worried" is prefered over "worrying", but I don't understand why. Can you explain it to me?

  worrying 在时态上是不是和has formed 冲突因而导致worrying 的使用不当. 我这样理解对吗? 可是如果主句是一般现在时,我就不知道用worrying 行不行了.

我看到有童鞋说这里省略了which is，即which is worried about。。。。， 所以用worrying不合适。
我有个疑问，如果这句话的语序变一下，变成：
worried about。。。。 ， the current administration has formed a .....
这种情况下，还是用worried的么？我的个人理解倒是应该用worrying了，逻辑主语the current administration和worry应该是主动关系。而原题里是省略了which is， 应该用worried。

不知道这样理解对不对，请牛牛来回答啊
