美国：vaccine被SV40污染，60%M病人组织样本中有SV40

E：Finland：vaccine没有被SV40污染，病人组织样本中没有SV40

根据以上对照组实验，可推出：M病人的SV40肯能来自被污染的vaccine（题目中hypothesis）

C：现在的vaccine中仍然含有SV40，无法推出M中的SV40来自vaccine，因为连M病都没有出现，这是一个孤立的事实，等于把题干重复，没有提供任何增加的信息。无关。

so，支持E。

非常同意关于“对照组”解释，试验中考查其他因素不变情况下，结果在某一特定因素改变情况的变化。个人觉得，这似乎比Lawyer所说的“因果型结论，用无因无果来支持”的解释更易懂一些。

这个题关键是要理解source，source不是说 我们今天注射了1960年的疫苗，而是说那是起源，至于这么多年这个virus怎么在人体内演变传代，我们就不管了，ok？

而科学家的假设是说PV是M的来源.前面告诉一堆东西其实没啥用,根本不管SV40什么事儿.

所以看回E,E说,在FINLAND,M的样本不含有SV40...这根本不能WEKAEN原文的假设.它有没有SV40跟它是不是M的cause并没有什么关系.

而C说,直接告诉你1960年的疫苗有virus.直接用一个discover的结果weaken了原文的假设.

支持！researcher's hypothesis是that this vaccine was the source of the virus found in mesotheliomas decades later. 答案中的E说vaccine从未被感染过，而M里面也没有SV40。仅这个条件无法得出vaccine是M里的virus的source.

关键点是：mesotheliomas 是几十年后才有的病。  就是60年感染的病毒一直到几十年后还存在SV40. C 正确。

刚从网上查到的line of reasoning:

SV40 -------Mesotheliomas.....
60% Tissues from Mesotheliomas ----SV40....

However , in1960... Polio Vaccine was contaminated with SV40....So ....Polio Vaccine was the source...

E direclty supports the researchers hypothesis...by mentioning a place where polio vaccine was not contaminated and the samples from mesotheliomas there did not contain SV40....SV40 -------Mesotheliomas.....

我觉得选E是有道理的。。。arguer基于事实——M与SV40有关系，PV曾感染过SV40——进行假设：M的SV40来源于PV。怎么加强呢？可以是,除了PV不可能通过其他途径获得SV40，而E说的就是这个，PV没有SV40,所以M也没有SV40。

再回过来看C，直到今天PV还保留有SV40的痕迹，这其实什么也说明不了，如果就此推出M的SV40来源于PV，那就犯了argument中的一种错误，叫做"with this, therefore because of this",他们同时出现，不代表其中的因果关系，本题要证明的则是这种因果关系。

注意：结论是在“说明一种关系”，加强也要加强关系，不能只强调说“存在关系中的一方”
