在地方政府机构工作是不是不利于申请？

因为一些特殊情况，

我打算回老家工作一段时间，

可能一直到申请学校。

之前在一家大型国有控股的上市公司工作，

职位是产品经理，是公司最年轻的。

不知道如果回老家工作一两年再申请会有多大的影响。

我很少看到有从普通城市申请到合适学校的例子，

毕竟没有北京上海这样的地方看似机会多。

谁能给个解答呢？
