向大家汇报,我之后又去找了不少Kellogg学校了解情况,也听取了很多人的不同建议,最后我采用了Admissionado 上建议的开头几短的格式。感觉that's the format i feel most comfortable with. 贴在这里仅供大家参考。 http://admissionado.com/mba/resources/2012-2013-northwestern-university-kellogg-essay-analysis/ Give us the long-term vision in a nut shell. Super brief—show us where it’s headed. (75 words) Explain your credibility. Walk us through the stuff in your past that convinces us you’re the man for the job—this is NOT your resume, we don’t want a laundry list of accomplishments. Instead we are CONNECTING a few key moments in your work experience that speak DIRECTLY to the likelihood of your achieving the goal set out in Part 1. (100 words) Now explain the need for a KELLOGG MBA and what’s gonna happen at KELLOGG specifically. If your argument here can apply to another business school, you’re doing it wrong. Walk us through specific ways a KELLOGG MBA helps push you further along your trajectory. (100 words) Now put us at the graduation moment, explaining what you’ve done to guarantee success. Are there backup plans? What are the steps? How is it all going to work? Convince us this is a “sure thing.” Show us not just ideas… but a PLAN. (125 words) Take it one step further and push it into the future again, but with more detail than in Part 1. The “plan” – not just lofty goals. (100 words) -- by 会员 rebeccablote (2012/12/6 6:35:14)
