Based on the common sense of advertisement,there stands a universally accepted view that advertisements can decorate or even modify the products that the comapny is selling and make them look better,in accordance with what the author states.While at the first glance,such statement appears to be convincing,or even appealing,futher rumination tells me that I should take issue with it for the following reasons. The most significant one is that advertisements are usually fraught with fraud,and plenty of news shows that the dishonesty of advertisements have already made consumers lose their faith for them.Based on the statistics of survey in the east Asia,there are approximately 73 percents of customers who do not regard advertisement as a effective method to promote their products.A pertinent example is regarding the cheat of a type of dairy product,which used to make a great number of advertisements on TV program as well as building walls.While eventually, the product failed peoples' faith since it has been proved that there exist some chemical elements,which may be extremely poisonous to babies,by experts.Hence the advertisements can sometimes cheat consumers,which will make the impression of the product bad. Furthermore,if the sellers are preoccupied in making more and more advertisements,the concentration on real products will decrease definately.Since there is only limited time for them to produce and sell their products due to the best session for consumers to buy it.For instance,a kind of umbrella sold at the plazza of my town,which used to be convenient and effective.After a recent intensifying advertisements,the umbrella has become less and less applicable,since the advertisements may cost them a large quantity of time to design what the ads should be. Last but not least,admittedly,there are surely some advertanges of advertisements,such as the fact that it can make consumers aware of their products.Still,the critical disadvantages for the products,are apparent.The sellers and managers should ballance their profits and costs on their budgets.If they invest more and more moneny on the advertisments,how can they have sufficient money for the assuance of their design and quality of their real products? To sum up in the final analysis,the aforementioned factors,which corelate to each other,can sometimes be integrated to be an organic whole,which is more persuasive than each individual.Therefore,we may safely come to the conclusion that most advertisements can not make the products sellers promote appear much better than they really are. |
