Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In the past, it was easier for people to identify what types of career or job would lead to a secure, successful future

If you are willing to make an achievement in your future career, choosing a right type of career is very important. In a boom industry, you can exercise your potential by taking advantage of the increasing of the industry. On the other hand, a sunset industry would put many barriers on the way you realize your ambition and gain career achievements.

It is controversial when comes to whether it was easier for people to identify what types of career or job would lead a secure and successful future in the past. I think people can identify right types of career lead to bright future more easily in the past.

First, in the past, the number of work type is much less than nowadays. It is reasonable to say that the small the total numbers are, the easier to identify the right from the big whole. For instance, in the very past, we may have only manufacturing jobs and sales jobs in a commercial company, while nowadays we have professional financing, accounting and human resource jobs in a company. It is clear that choose from two is easier than choose from a dozen choices.

Second, it is easier to distinguish each type of jobs in the past. It is undoubtedly that our social division of labor is refining and refining. It becomes more difficult to identify the difference career path and ability required. For example, the responsibility of an accountant and a treasurer is some kind confusing, making you feel hard to choose between them,.

Third, the rapid changes in today’s social and economic life make it very common that an industry quickly boom and quickly die. As a result, your career may die before you have a successful future, even you are totally qualified. For example, a CD designer may find it very miserable concerning expanding revenue and sales, because digital music take their market place.

In conclusion, taking jobs volume, specific social division of labor and industrial rapid improvement into consideration, I think people can identify right types of career lead to bright future more easily in the past.

Do you agree or disagree: economic growth seems to be more important than environmental concerns

Have you ever heard the news about that people are killed by drinking the polluted water? Have you ever watched TV which were reporting the severe flooding and its serious consequence—— people killed and possession damaged. Have you ever noticed that economic growth is based on the materials from natural such as oil, trees, coal.
If you have ever had experience above, you would know how important protecting environment is.

As we all know, health is the most valuable wealth we have. We cannot emphasize the importance of our health too much. Our body health is based on suitable habitats provided by the environment. However, if we count economic growth more important than environment concerns, pollution caused by industrial manufacturing will beyond the environment capacity. As a result, over-polluted environment will do harm to human health. One of the most common pollution is air pollution ,which often produced by power plants, manufacturing facilities, and fuel-burning heating devices. Air pollution can cause health problem such as heart disease, respiratory infection.and lung cancer. What’s more, some authority published that 2.4 million people die each year from causes directly attributable to air pollution. So,we cannot under value environment when comparing with economic.

In addition, there is no denying that natural disaster is the most destructive things ,such as flood ,drought and global warming. these disaster can destroyed homes ,furnitures and corps in a few hours ,which would take us very long time to created. Therefore, these disasters will cause very serious economic loss. Natural disasters are closely related to environment destruction. For instance,many extensive flooding is cause by deforestation. So, we should concern environment protection not less than economic growth, because environment is the security of economy.

Last but not least, natural resource is the engine of our society’s economic growth. The natural provide us everything we need. From clothes to food,from building materials to fuel resource. We can not survive without plants,animals and many other materials from environment, not even mentioning economic growth. It is no doubt that our economic even our human society based on our environment. So, how can we say that economic growth is more important than environmental concerns?

In conclusion, as our economic growth depend on environment, there is no reason to say that economic growth is more important than environmental concerns.

Agree or disagree? Your job has more effect on your happiness than your social life does.My job has more effect on happiness.

When it comes to your job or your social life is more important on your happiness,some think the job is more important, other think the social life is more important. However, as far as I concerned, I hold the opinion that your job has more effect on your happiness. The reason why I develop this position is that I experience how a horrible job can harm your happiness to a impossible degree.

First, it is apparent that your job has a closely related to your happiness during your working time. In general,you spend most of your waking time at the office doing your job,which are always 8 hours or more. Wether you are happy or not during your 8-hour working time really matters your happiness in a day. A good case in point is when I used to work as an accountant in a state-owned enterprise, the job was all about making same entries all the time. This situation makes me feel very depressed because I think my job is of no worthy at all. Once I entered the office building, I was unhappy. So there is no denying that your job has a significant effect on your happiness.

Another equally important aspect is that your job can afford you to persue your happiness in outside work. For instance, the happiest thing for me is that I can travel all around the world. But like every youth whose father is not a millionaire, I have no money to afford my travel. By doing my work, I can earn enough money I need to do my happiest thing. Therefore, it is conceivable that your job affects your happiness strongly.

Last but not least, your job can directly affect your outside work life. A particular example for this is how the society treat people doing particular job. For example, teachers is considered very noble profession because they pass their knowledge to their students without reservation. Everyone respect teacher in our society. So a teacher can easily ba trusted and respected by people outside the school and after their working time. These can make their life happier and more comfortable.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that your job has more effect on your happiness than your social life does.
