请问有没有工作几年再去读PhD的？

numerical approximation in finance吧。。。当然这属于dirty implementation了

肯定不会读完mfe就去搞phd啦，毕竟得先把mfe的学费挣回来。。。

话说是不是工作之后申请一般都是跟工作有关的？

But working experience is more beneficial when it comes to teaching MBA students. Think of the following 2 scenario (they are real scenarios):

1. A is teaching a case involved with company B in his or her class. One of A's students told A before the class: I worked for B before for quite some time and I am going to see if all your talking about B is valid.

2. C is teaching a derivative course. C found that some students keep asking challenging questions from the first class. C did a check and found those students are from top Wall Street investment banks who believe the derivative models of their banks are superior and the rest are just bullshit.

For handling challenging MBA students, if you have no working experience, it could be challenging to you.
