ESADE Business School's Master in International Management (MIM), ranked 7th in the world by the Financial Times

In the ranking of Bologna-adapted master's courses in management (Masters of Science, MSc) published today by the Financial Times, ESADE's Master in International Management (MIM)was ranked 7th in the world, consolidating its position among the world's top programmes, while the CEMS MIM, also taught at ESADE, took 3rd place.
ESADE's MIM has progressed steadily in the rankings over the past few years, positioning itself among the top 10 programmes worldwide. According to Prof. Alfred Vernis, Director of the University Programmes Strategic Unit at ESADE, "Much of this result has to do with the rigorous student-selection process and the internationalisation strategy adopted by the school over the past few years." He added: "The large number of nationalities represented in the classroom is an extraordinary asset, providing an educational experience that goes beyond the traditional academic environment."
Career advancement and international experience
The Financial Times values the international experience of ESADE students and the career advancement of its graduates. One of the peculiarities of ESADE's MIM is the large number of students participating in exchange programmes and internships at companies abroad. Of MIM students, 88% are foreign, representing 42 different countries.
According to Prof. Vernis, "This international profile is essential, since it gives students a global mindset and the skills they needs to adapt easily to the culture of any country, which is key to career advancement. If you look at the set of experiences these students have both inside and outside the classroom, you can see it's truly a unique learning experience."
Worldwide leader in international employment mobility
The Financial Times ranking takes into account the world's best Bologna-adapted master's courses. These courses, which can be taken by bachelor's degree holders, are largely designed to promote the mobility of international students.
For the second year running, ESADE's MIM has been named number one in the world in international employment mobility. More than 90% of MIM graduates get jobs overseas, in countries such as the United States, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Through its Career Services office, ESADE helps companies find multilingual professionals with a high degree of geographical mobility.
CEMS Master in International Management
ESADE offers undergraduate and MSc students who want to develop an international career the chance to pursue the CEMS MIM. This course, which leads to a common degree offered by all of the CEMS universities, is available in Spain only at ESADE.
CEMS MIM is a pan-European programme open to students pursuing a master's degree at any of the CEMS member schools. More than 700 students from 50 different countries participate in the programme every year.
CEMS is a strategic alliance of 27 member schools on four different continents, plus more than 70 big-name corporate partners. The CEMS MIM is a management programme that targets recent graduates and aims is to satisfy the demand of companies seeking young workers with management skills. It provides a high level of education and professional experience for multilingual, multicultural postgraduate students.
