Hey there! Let’s try and get your questions answered: So, first of all, having 2 years experience doesn’t necessarily put you out of the running, but it DOES make things harder. So usually it means that you will end up going to a less good school than you could with one more year. Your GMAT and TOEFL are very good (although you do have some room for improvement if you are aiming for M7 schools). Actually it all depends on you: where you want to go. How important it might be to you to get your MBA now and not next year, etc. My instinct tells me that you might be better off if you wait one more year. This will give you enough time to top-off your TOEFL and GMAT, and give you a chance to better your odds. At the same time, right now if you haven’t written essays yet, you are starting a bit late, so it would be better for you to aim round 1. If you could retake both exams by the end of May of 2013, you would be in perfect shape to get your applications ALL done before R1 next year, which would give you the best possible chances of getting in the best possible school!
