最后奉劝lz一句，不要在这种地方下功夫，直接看大错AB都可以排除，og解释里的东西很多都是欲加之罪何患无辞，真正考的时候你也没时间看这种小错误，往往都是主谓宾，指代，平行，和搭配的错误等
PS：同理与prep的解释，很多都是错的，还是那句话，看大错

OG-C The reference of them is unclear and the expression is generally awkward.
OG 说有问题，就是有问题。

LZ 对比 （C）和（E）选项。

你发现C选项的them 指代的people 在两个介宾短语里面， in Laos with a population of only four million people，这个藏的也太深，感觉好像不太想让人发现。。 读句子快一点，你都不会留意到有people这个“指代对象”。

而且我们在看看C的写法，主干主语many of them去“指代” 非核心修饰语的名词“people”.
个人认为不妥。

因为非核心修饰语的一个重要特点是：删去该修饰语但不会影响句意，假如我们把“in Laos there is a population of only four million ”删去的话，them立刻就不知道指代是什么了，这对句意有影响，所以不对。

个人总结代词指代：
（1）有没有语法正确的指代对象 （单复数）
（2）指代对象语义是否模糊 （即多个语法正确，但语义不同的指代对象）
（3）指代对象的位置清晰，明确。（平行对称，主干和修饰，介宾短语）。

谢谢，我明白了，GMAT 的确做的时候，把一些介词啊，插入语啊什么都划掉，看主干，看主谓什么的，这里就是这个道理， 过BD 通过其他也很明显可以看出是错的；
还有你的建议，谢谢，我一直以为发的一个一个题目的，别人会闲麻烦，不如在一个看的舒服，，我错了，下次我就好好弄排版，在分开发！

我依然不是很理解： “有背景知识的就不会有这个误解“？ 不是说：this makes little sense吗？ little 不是表否定？

其实我五分钟前刚刚看这题，也有点晕。尝试解释下。请透彻明白的看下对不对。


Despite being called a sea...翻成中文，“虽然叫做海..."，也就是前提假设下面出现的东西会被叫做”...海(sea)“，但是往下出现的是lake和Caspian。跟前面搭不上了。
