求解释OG13 SC第九题

求比较ABC选项。。。OG的解释我看明白了。。。可是对于这三个选项的区别还是很迷糊。。。我当时选的C。。。求帮助扭转思路。。。
OG上说A选项的those指代tons of the 1978 harvest。。。可我怎么总觉得指代的是rice production。。。还有既然从A简化到了B。。。为嘛B不能简化到C呢。。。求解释。。。

A选项，因为用的是those，所以只能指代前面的复数名词，只能指代 tons of xx，如果a选项改为 less than that of 1978就对了

c选项绝对不应该选，这个对比的是1979的rice production 和1978的rice production， 不能用1979的rice production 对比1978这个年份
