Depends on your schedule and your expectation. If you plan to apply for 2005, you can work on TOEFL right now and put GMAT aside for the moment. Then work hard on GMAT and take the test again in December or January. However, many top schools might have finished their first couple rounds of admission by then. So you best bet might be the mid tier schools. And a high GMAT still works to your advantage when you apply for financial aid. If money is not an issue and you have pretty good background, and you feel comfortable with mid-tier schools (15-50), then 650 or your first GMAT might be just enough. Just my thoughts. |
