TPO1独立写作。 In universities, sports and social activities should get the equal financial support as classes and libraries. Do you agree or disagree?  题目大概是这样。

Many universities usually provide classes and libraries with more financial supports. The financial supports for sports and social activities, however, from my point of view, should be paid the equal attention. I will state my argument by following reasons.

Firstly, although the main purpose for students to attend colleges is to acquire knowledge, healthy bodies and pleasant relationships with peers serve as the basic requirement for better performance in academic records. I think through taking sports, students can gain strong bodies in order to help them better adapt the intensive study and assignments, while participating social activities in campus allows them to build up good relationships with peers, leading to a more friendly study environment.

What's more, the students go to school not only to obtain knowledge from text books, they also need to learn the spirits and social principals which will benefit their future life. Taking my own experience as an example, I joined basketball team in my college when I was studying there. Through the strict and heavy training every day, I've learned that how important sportsmanship in my life, since I've been aware that I should strike for my goal and spare no effort to achieve it, just like the sportsman competing in the game trying to be the winner. In addition, because of the NGO activities I took part in universities, I've still keeping doing volunteer job in my community. I think this is another crucial learning that students are supposed to gain through their campus life. To some extent, they are much more important than the academic knowledge, because these characters will place a profound impact in students’ whole life.

As I mentioned above, sports and social activities play important roles in students’ campus life. In many cases, students form their value and personalities through these activities. Therefore, I strongly suggest they should enjoy the equal financial support as academic activities.
