请教关于推荐信的问题

哪有這麼打擊人的，，，建議LZ可以問問那邊的招生組的老師，看看自己的各方面如何，一般招生組的回覆都會給你很大信心的~~~

well, although I am doing master's at GWU, probably you know better than I do?????? I just want to advise LZ to save money/time/energey to apply some other schools which are possible for her/his b/g.

Of course LZ could send email to inquire, but I am SURE they will suggest how extremely competitive their Phd in finance program is.

Anyway, every one has his/her own right to have a try on anything. However, for myself, I will never try anyting that is not possible at all, since it is really stupid--just my own thoughts, could be wrong

不过今年就有一个拿到GWU PHD的~在斑上就有说过~虽然不知道是什么背景，但是也不至于得到他们不喜欢中国学生的这种结论。

if they really "LOVE" us, some of the program/faculty should have consisted of Chinese like other US universities who truly "love" us. But why do they dont have a single Chinese prof there; and why did they only recruit only one chinese student in the most recent years(as far as i know this chinese student has a very strong b/g to which yours will never be comparable--I am sorry although my saying is pretty ugly, it is the fact ).

I am not trying to make you frustrated; I just want to kindly to let you know what's going on there and what will be going on. Again, I will you good luck if you want to have a try.

恩恩，我知道啊，我当然知道你对我好。可是我可能跟你的想法有点不同，因为我觉得每个人是最独特的，可能我的背景却是很弱，或者是我在做的研究很偏，但是我相信只要够自信，使自己变的更与众不同也总能成功，成功未必需要复制别人的背景。或许因为如此我们才得以提早几年看到了MAC。


恕我直言，我不是很能接受你的观点和思维方式，就申请而言你的背景强学校就未必会要你，你的背景不强也未必会失败。就像今年我们学校GMAT720和GMAT770都能去MIT一样。所以我不会因 为啊我比别人弱太多了啊之类的原因连尝试的机会都放弃。
第二个，你说如果他们真的喜欢中国人的话为什么会没有faculty是中国的，我觉得他们faculty里没有中国人原因是双向的，你通过这个现象论证你的结论未免牵强。或许中国学生不想去这个学校，或者想去的也不够优秀。或者跟所有的申请者放在一起比的时候有更优秀的人。anyway，我不能理解你的逻辑和推论。
不知道你在那边发生了什么事情，以至于觉得GWU的人不喜欢中国人。首先是拿不招PHD作为论证，结果不成立。现在又拿faculty没有中国人拿论证。总之，我不理解。原谅晚辈无知。
