C是正确的。文章其实就是从这个assumption来展开的，作者的反驳思路是这样的：大批南方农村黑人进城——》导致南方城市工作竞争加剧——》原先已经在南方城市里工作的黑人（当然有一手技能）被迫到北方城市寻找机会——》得出前面的结论有问题。可以这样理解驳斥的逻辑，你不是说说农村黑人一没技能二不熟悉环境没法在城里混吗，那我现在证明来的不是南方农村黑人，而是南方城市黑人，他们既熟悉城市生活又有一手技能，所以说你这个理由不对。作者当然要同意C说的assumption才能使这个驳斥的过程完整。

然后试着自己分析了下： Easy conclusion 就是说明A(南方黑人面临经济不适应问题）和 B( 农村背景）之间有关系。正确项C表明了A与B之间的联系(农村背景的比城市背景的经济上更难成功），而A选项说的是农村背景到城市去多半是经济问题，不能推出A与B的关系。
