同意！carracho的说法，因为如果从语法上去考虑：（a widespread culture of Algonquian-speaking） people.

a widespread culture 是名词型结构，而Algonquian-speaking 很明显是形容词，怎么能并列呢？这是个最基本的问题，所以从句的主体结构就是：the residents are part of culture.

这题只能自己好好记住，这是东西方逻辑的不同。
