这篇是有点难找purpose,根据我的经验,这类题最好先看清每个选项的开头,是explain,evaluate, discuss,or  present,ect从这篇看通篇都是说这个那个 research results,所以由此选D.

这题我认为选E较好。。。A中说这个proposal的implementation的成功可能性，这个跟文意差太远了吧。。。文中根本没有提到要实施这个proposal，而是介绍了一个proposal后面的study1，同时介绍了另一个study2不同意study1的结论。。。
