Background: Wendy's, overcome BK, becomes the No. 1 of restraunt chain industry. Wendy's advantage: They were fast food but they also provide more choices. And it was more like be an intermedia between fast food resturant and ordinary resturant. Mcdonal's : keep increase until 2002. At that year, their revenue began to decline, and made them reconsider whether they expandeed too fast. Also, in that year, sb. has wrote a book about the junk food and made people consider healthy food. So, Mc. changed their streatagy and be more cautious to expand new branch and provide more health food.
Mc. also introduce new dishes in their menu.
Starbucks, the 3rd largest resterant provide a new stratergy to make the resturant to be a place of hangout. So Wendy's began to decorate 50 restruant to be a more convinient ones to hangout and provide Wi-fi.
BK, instead of innovation, they make more ads. in the college. Mc. increase by 26%, Wendy's by 9%, and BK keep consistant with last year.
