Both the reading passage and lecture are talking about how the buildings are used before. However, the professor, in the lecture, defies these buildings are not used just like illustrated in the reading passage. It totally revises the points stand in the reading material. Here are three reasons.

In the first place, the reading passage describes this Chaco structures are used for residents. In other words, hundreds of people could live there. However, the lecture says, from the outside of these building, it really looks like apartments. But, from the inside of this building, it is not used for living. If hundreds of people live in these places, there must have many fire places, which are very important for citizens, because people use them for cooking. Obviously, there are few fire places in these building. On the other hand, there are not enough rooms to hold so many people living. Thus, the professor apparently disagrees with the view demonstrated in the reading passage.

In addition, the reading material says these Chaco structures could be used to store food supplies because the grain maize could be stored for long periods of time without spoiling. Nevertheless, the professor argues there is no evidence to verify this point. In these buildings, there are no maize on the floor or maize containers. So, it is unnecessary the usages of buildings are storing food. Therefore, this is another part which rejects the reading passage.

Furthermore, the reading passage states these houses are used for ceremonies. Nearby these buildings, archaeologists could find lots of mound formed by a pile of old materials- broken pots and etc. Conversely, the professor thinks the pots and other old material could only be found in certain areas. What's more, around these findings, there also have many trashes. Even though archaeologist found some pots which may be used for meals, there has another explanation about this phenomenon besides ceremony. It would be some containers for food used by construction workers instead of used for festivals. Consequently, the third reason is butted.

In conclusion, all the information illustrated in the reading passage objects to the points stand in the lecture.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The most important investment for a company is to spend money to improve the work skills of its employees.

其他东西更值得投资;
投资大学生也挺好;

Have you ever noticed that more and more companies tend to invest money to joint ventures? Have you ever found the relationship between the universities and companies are getting together closely? Have you ever heart an increasing number of employees are beginning to consider jump-hop to other companies which might have higher salaries or have more chances to promote? If so, you might deeply stand on my side that it is not a wise investment for a company to devote money on to training their employees.
Training workers are not a wise investment for a company. Nowadays, it is well acknowledged that when companies could not give their workers what they want or meet their satisfactions, like promotion, they will leave the companies as quickly as possible without hesitating. A complete company consists of capital, labor force and the modern facilities such as fax machines, printing presses and computers. Obviously, improving the other aspects, for instance, the manger could choose a nicer working condition for their employees or contribute money on promoting the companies’ stocks, is totally +a wise decision. Thus, training their employees will make companies loss more money if their workers choose other companies rather the original companies.

Aside from the forgoing proviso, devoting money to undergraduate students seems a popular investment in the modern society. For students, it is essentially to have some working and training experiences during their campus lives. On one hand, the companies can store more labor forces for the future development. On the other hand, students might have more chance to practice themselves which can put them in the favorable position in the upcoming competitions. Killing two birds with one stone! This investment strategy also meets the ideals of most companies: less investments, more profits. Therefore, both companies and students will get benefits from this policy.

Admittedly, if other factors, like labor force, are ignored accidently and(是不是应该用or) deliberately, it could not +be a sound analysis that can stand up to a close scrutiny. Apparently, manpower is one of the important section in one company. Without employees, how the works or the projects could go well? How the new and modern electric products come out into the beginning in a short time? However, this consideration would not make me deliver the vital point of my address without sufficient punch.

Personally speaking, even though different people have different dictionaries不解 of their own, I, considering the positive and negative of this issue, Istill think labor force is not an important investment for a company in terms of benefits +of the companies receive and advantages welfares of all the whole society enjoy.

Both the reading passage and lecture talk about the character of dinosaurs. The professor, in the listening passage, says the dinosaurs are not endotherms. It apparently revises the point illustrated in the reading material. Here are three reasons.

In the first place, the writer discusses the fossils of dinosaurs that are found in Polar Regions which shows the evidence to verify dinosaurs are endotherms. However, the lecture defies, in the old days, the climate in polar regions were not as cold as nowadays, which means the temperature was much warmser than now. But with the temperature coming down, polar dinosaurs could live in these areas and then migrate to some warm regions or hibernation like other reptiles. So, the lecture totally disagrees with the view stand demonstrated by the writer.

In addition, the reading passage describes that the leg position and movement determine dinosaurs are endotherms. Conversely, the professor argues there has other is another evidence explanation to explain the position of these legs. Obviously, besides the explanation of running, the usage of legs underneath the body is to support its weight because its huge size has advantages, which is another part rejects the reading passage.

Furthermore, the reading material claims Haversian canals allow dinosaurs to grow quickly. The professor contends dinosaurs really have Haverisan canals, special bone structure. However, the dinosaurs have growth rings. They can prove the dinosaurs growth slowly or even stop growth at that time. What's more important, the process of quickly growth, slowly or no growth, and quickly growth again is a character of non-endotherms.

In conclusion, all the information about dinosaurs are endotherms in the reading passage objects to the points stand in the lecture.

It is a common fact and an indisputable phenomenon that an increasing number of students would like to hire a professional tutor to help them. It is due to difficulty courses students receive, many assignments students should finish, and the resourceful tutors have. However, in my point of view, I still believe I could help my classmate better than a tutor.

To begin with, sometimes, asking a tutor for help is not convenient. As we all know, the responsibilities of tutors couldare not only help students figure out academic problems they meet off class, but also prepare the other knowledge or information which will explain and interpret in class. So, maybe they have less time to induct us as the mentors. Conversely, I have an abundant of free time. My classmate could ask me at any time because I do not have so- called “office hour”. For example, if my roommate has a question about the periodical table in chemistry, she could ask me when she gets up early at morning in weekend. Thus, no one could deny how convenient it is!

In addition, I know my friend better, comparing with the tutors. Suppose, in a large- scale lecture hall, there are nearly one hundred students in the classroom. Could the tutors call out the name of each student? Obviously, it is impossible. On no account can they really know the character or the personality of a student. If they could not know much about a student, tutors could not help students in a proper way. However, it will be different when I face this problem. Every day, I spend much time on communicating with my classmates. I could know most of them about their study habits. Thus, when my classmate faces some problems in doing their assignments, I could interpret these academic questions on depending on their different ways of learning. In this way, they could have a better understanding about the answers.

Furthermore, we would pay some money to tutors because of the instruction. Especially, when we need a professional tutor, the price of tutoring will even higher. All of these could make students cause budget tensions. However, if I could give my classmates a hand, they could save a lot of moneythe helps which I provided are obviously free,so my classmates could save some money. Also, there is an old saying: a friend in need is a friend indeed.(这里,friendclassmate还是有区别的额) Thus, I couldalways do my utmost to help others about their schoolwork.

Personally speaking, although maybe it is true that students have different dictionaries of their own on finding proper guides which may tutor them, I still think I am a perfect candidate who could help my friends better in terms of convenience, all-round knowing and free-fee.

One of your classmates needs help with some schoolwork. Which solution would you recommend your classmate should do: to ask you for help or to find a professional tutor for help?
我每天课不多,有时间;
我比t懂他;
T花钱
It is a common fact and an indisputable phenomenon that an increasing number of students would like to hire a professional tutor to help them. It is due to difficulty courses students receive, many assignments students should finish, and the resourceful tutors have. However, in my point of view, I still I could help my classmate better than a tutor.(感觉表达有点生硬,改成 my classmate can receive better help from me than from a professional tutor )

To begin with, sometimes, asking a tutor for help is not convenient. As we all know, the responsibilities of tutors could not only help students figure out academic problems they meet off class, but also prepare the other knowledge or information which will explain and interpret in class.(有问题的表达,主语是responsibilities, 但是谓语却用了help和prepare,这两个verb搭配的主语应该是sb,直接用be动词做谓语即可)So, maybe they have less time to induct(induct的意思是正式任职,用在这里语义不对) us as the mentors. Conversely, I havean abundant of (abundant是adj. My classmate could ask me at any time because I do not have so- called “office hour”. For example, if my roommate has a question about the periodical table in chemistry, she could ask me when she gets up early at morning in weekend. Thus, no one could deny how convenient it is!
In addition, I know my friend better, comparing with the tutors(移到前面更好). Also, there is an old saying: a friend in need is a friend indeed. Thus, I could do my utmost to help others about their schoolwork.

Personally speaking, although maybe it is true that students have different dictionaries of their own on finding proper guides which may tutor them, I still think I am a perfect candidate who could help my friends better in terms of convenience, all-round knowing and free-fee.

101030NA Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People are now easier to become educated than in the past.
It is a common and an indisputable fact that people are much easier to become education than in the past. There are many reasons to cause this situation. Generally speaking, it is due to high level of education, system learning or even more competition. In my point of view, a growing number of people receive more education easily, and they can gain knowledge more convenient than the past.

In the first place, the reason is an increasing level of education and development of living condition. Suppose, fifty years ago, the condition of education. Our grandparents may had no chance to get education. On one hand, they are so poverty that their home hardly could support them to get further study. On the other hand, what's more important, nearly no teachers had educated well, not to mention my grandma can received a better instruction. However, due to the high level of education, we could not only have knowledgeable and resourceful of teachers, but also could easily access to a huge number of information and knowledge by ourselves, because nowadays more and more media come into our life, such as Internet or television programs. .thanks to the invention of the computer and the internet, we can search all kinds of information through the internet. Also, the television shows, like CNN and discovery, help us broaden our horizon and better understand the whole world. So we can sink in an atmosphere full of education.

In addition, compare to the past, nowadays we accept more scientific learning system gradually. For example, in an elementary school, kids need to study multiplication table so that they can calculate numbers by themselves, and lay the foundation for the further study. When they are in high school, they need take advantage of the knowledge of multiplication table to understand the meaning of algebra. Then, going to the university, they should learn the calculus by understanding the multiplication table and algebra. Hence, learning system is more scientific than past, and the students can better understand the meaning of the academic information.

Furthermore, the third reason is more competitions. People pursue further educational degree, especially master degree and doctorate degree, because they realize that applying jobs are not easy tasks to them anymore. In old days, a person who has a bachelor degree can work in one of the TOP 500 companies. However, now, it is impossible. So they need to study harder and learn more knowledge to put them in favorable positions in the upcoming competitions.

To sum up, the reasons why people are much easier become education than in the past is the easier access of acquiring knowledge, the more understandable way of learning information and the stronger desire of gain knowledge, people in modern society can learn much faster than they used to do in the past.
