我今年打算申请tuck,gmat760,toefl刚考完iBT等成绩,估计在100+,工作10年,6年外企,4年私企,非常喜欢tuck的文化.有个问题请教一下,网上申请时遇到如下问题,有点糊涂,不是递交材料之后才知道是否有面试的机会吗?还是要我们主动去schedule一个面试?谢谢!

我当年的情况是，面试是邀请的，不是自己想约就约的

但是你如果能来学校做面试，那是可以预约的。好像只是对earlyround的申请者。

Both the senior manager and the partner of my last employer agreed to write me recommendations.  And the senior manager is more familiar with me but the partner has a higher title.  In this case, which one should I choose that will be better for my application?

我在国有银行工作4年，g760/t630（但是听力只有56），非常喜欢tuck，准备申请early round。有两个问题向大家请教：

1、看到tuck 的网站上关于申请有这样一段说明：

If you hold a similar graduate degree (not an MBA) from another country, we will consider your application; however, you must provide us with an additional essay explaining why you need an MBA in addition to your current degree.

我在国内已经有了经济学硕士学位了，这是否意味着我必须要在additional essay中说明我为何还需要mba呢？

2、看到前面提到early round一般只录取2人左右，不知现在还是这样的政策么？依我的背景，是不是应该考虑申请第一轮呢？

如果你的推荐信是自己写好找人签字，当然是级别越高越好。如果是推荐人亲自执笔，那就是越了解的越好。

1， 可以问一下admissions

我当时申请的的时候还没这条

2, 每轮录多少人只是供参考，不是绝对的。我觉得还是要看准备得如何。
