Yes, you are right! That is because Duke is a private university(much smaller than public ones), while a football team requires almost 100 players. Generally, no private university can own a top football team.
But Duke basketball is so legendary. The Blue Devils are the pride of every duke students.

By now, majority of the almost 30 Chinese students have secured their internship, I cannot list all of the companies, but they include big names like Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and McKinsey.
Corporate finance(finance prositions in coporations) positions are the easiest to get. To get an IB offer in US is very hard because you have to compete with the American students. But if you have related IB backround, that will be easier.
Regarding the full time offers, I don't have enough information. You know, job offers are kind of "privacy". It's not polite to ask about it all the time. That will be very "八卦"
