This is just a really sad post, it took me a couple of looks and quite some time to try to figure out what the author was trying to say.
The fact you have corrected the original post more than a few times and kept explaining yourself throughout this nutrition-poor thread shows a couple of things.
Whoever those individuals you had a grudge against that provoked you to make this post in the first place, they might be the typical consulting McKinsey-A-holes, or investment-banking-A-holes. You felt the need to get back at them, we get it. But the only thing you have acchieved with this thread, as others above have mentioned, is effectively lowering yourself to their ranks. The perceived intention of your thread, from my perspective at least, has gone from "what a bragging-A-hole" to "what a condesending-A-hole" to "what a defensive-A-hole". You've generated so much heat on yourself because of your poor choice of words and your inability to express your intentions effectively. Grammar-Nazis and spelling-Nazis aside, I'm sure your English is good enough, but the clear discrepency between the message you wanted to convey and the message perceived shows, simply, poor communicational skills.
Messages get lost in translation all the time, especially when emotions are involved. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, 99.9% of the residents on this forum are English ESL students. People here have various degrees of English language skills, some people are more or less sensitive to the meanings and implications of certain particular word choices. When discussing matters calmly, people give you lee-way in trying to understand you better, but when emotions are provoked, the "lost in translation" effect is only amplified. "Blown out of proportion", "taken out of context" are appropriate to describe what we have here. Your English is not good enough to express yourself emotionally, especially when you were emotional when you first made this thread. you bet if you made the post in Chinese, none of these misunderstandings and self-explanings would happen.
So what have we learned from this, DO NOT LOSE YOUR COOL ON THE INTERNET! Anyone who's spent enough time online should know better, unless it's professional websites or forums where people are sincere in making meaningful real life contacts by revealing their true identities, nobody should take anything anyone says online personally, we are all just anonymous avatars and screennames. Defending against anonymous online attacks is just as pointless as attacking others online anonymously. Online bragging is pathetic and is frowned upon when you can't verify what you claimed is true, anyone can sit behind an anonymous screenname and take credit for all the world is worth, who seriously gives a flying-FXXK? DO NOT LOSE YOUR COOL ON THE INTERNET!
I've spent enough of my time talking to anonymous avatars already, I'm done here.
