有这么一个问题,Tell us about your company, your current position an responsibilities. What have been your greatest achievements and contribution to your department/company strategy (quantify if possible)? how do you influence decision making? (350-600 words)

这个问题我想了好几天了不敢下笔,周围也没什么人可以讨论的,所以来CD求教各位大侠,前辈。
不知各位,有什么建议或思路可以帮忙讨论一下?
尤其是最后一个问题:how do you influence decision making?

新问题:

Highlight elements of your career that have included the following:
1. Colleague and/or client management
2. Financial/budgetary responsibility
3. Project management/leadership
4. International Exposure
(350-600 words)

哪位有好的建议和想法,还请不吝赐教。先谢了。

再请教一个问题:
What will your post MBA career look like, in 5 years, in 10 years? Which aspects of your previous roles will form the building blocks of your new career and how you will develop the additional skills to shape your ideal role?
(250-400 words)

我的问题是:1,Post MBA career 该怎样回答?选择哪种行业合适呢?现在在retail industry工作,如果可能希望改行金融或者咨询。
                   2,第二个问题没有什么思路,现在是project manager.

My answer may not be the best.

For example, when you are a project manager, you need present the results to the board after completion the project. You often present with a proposal for the next steps. In that process, you are giving information for decision making. When the board has two different opinions regarding to the next step based on the project outcome. If you present the pros&cons and support one of the approach based on evidence, this is a sort of influences of decision making.

The outcome is that the board may or may not take your advice. A strong example is that they have taken your advice and have acted upon the decision.

Company - brief introduction of your company, vision, mission, position & ranking in the industry, revenue & ETC.
Your current position - your job title.
Your current responsibilities - something relavent to MBS MBA program in line with your CV.
Your greatest achievements - how you define your achievement, suggest to indicate statistics & figure in a story about starting situation, goal & target, gap defined, process planed, progression, achievement. It's a chance to indicate your strategy management experience.
Your contribution - in finance figure.
How do you influence decision-making ? Find strategic issues to influence, make an example to demonstrate how you influenced someone (customer, boss) in business. Process can be, see the driver, find hot botton, strategy and approach, influence achieved.
There is one way to write excellent essay - write it, delete it completely, rewrite it, delete it completely....after 4-5 times you are fine, trust me.

Highlight elements of your career that have included the following:
1. Colleague and/or client management
2. Financial/budgetary responsibility
3. Project management/leadership
4. International Exposure

Answer them seperately like 4 different questions.
1. How you manage customer ( If you are BD or account manager),
or how you manage colleague (If you lead a team, list out their responsibilities and how you set up team and individual targets for them),
or how you manage colleague (If you are not leading a team, try to find project management topics, when you lead a project team),
or how you manage colleague (If none of above you experienced, try to explain a situation when you influenced colleague and made something positive)

2. Financial budget.
Sales yearly target of GP or Revenue, Purchasing yearly budget of expense, etc, team budget if you are a P&L Manager. Facts & Figures.

3. Project management/leadership.
Your cross-functional alignment skill. Overview with facts and figures, and a case that indicates your leadership, preferrably in a cross-functional project team.

4. International exposure.
a, international subordinates. b, overseas business trip. c, international supervisor. d, international company. e, international communication. These facts are prioritized in a descendent order, so you don't have to list out each of them. And try to avoid sensitive talks about country, people or culture.

What will your post MBA career look like, in 5 years, in 10 years?
Simply image your future in 5 years and 10 years after graduation. If you are unsure about future industry, don't metion it until you do. So you can project your role from PM to GM via Department Manager position. Or other kind of career progression. You can be agressive and ambitious, but stay logical.

Which aspects of your previous roles will form the building blocks of your new career and how you will develop the additional skills to shape your ideal role?
Of course you cannot answer this question if you don't plan your future clearly.
Change management procedure, FYR , current situation --- future goal and target --- define gap --- define plan. The building blocks here is the thing which keep you from your future goal, we call it strategic issue. What's your strategic issue should be based on what's your strategy and what's holding you ? As such.
How you will develop the additional skills - link it to MBA program.
