i can't understand why B is not right ?

B. 在一个几乎漆黑的大厅里，对于这些有eye disorder 的人，一个昏暗的红色exit sign要比一个小的昏暗的白色光源清楚。

但原文中只说，这些人既能看清昏暗的光（包括白色和红色），又能看清一般亮度的红色的光。并没有比较dim white 和 dim red, 所以错。

otherwise可以这么理解：去掉这个otherwise，大厅就是漆黑的。但因为有后文的red exit sign 和 white light, 所以大厅还不至于彻底漆黑（在一个几乎漆黑的大厅里）。

我解释一下这个题：

有某种眼疾的人感到对于正常人感觉正常的光线有无法忍受的强烈，除了红光外。也就是说，正常强度的红光对于这种眼疾患者是可以接受的，但其他正常强度的光线对于这类眼疾患者是不能接受的。

D说一种眼镜，能让红光穿透，而过滤其他光线（即降低它的强度）对患者看正常光线有帮助。

b. in dark,  these people ONLY show normal sensitivity , no better

这道题目关键还是要读懂题目吧。

题目说：有眼病的人对正常关极度敏感（太敏感，太强烈），以至于实质上不能看到正常光。然而他们对于微弱光和正常的红光有象常人一样的敏感度。

问可以推出什么。就是C所说的，拿正常光来，过滤掉其他的，只剩下红光，这些有眼病的人就可以看到了。
