盼大家给一些建议，我的情况是否读MBA

在其他条件一样时候，如果是全职的MBA，相对于在职的MBA，雇主会更看重一些的，这一点无容置疑。

咋就不容置疑了呢？雇主为什么prefer full time mba？因为FT学到了更多东西？因为学到的东西很管用，理论功底更扎实，能给企业带来更多价值？给个理由。

简单的说是因为parttime mba的门槛太低了，什么人都能搞到，即使是挂着复旦交大这种名号的往往招生关把的都不严格。雇主都知道各个MBA项目里面的人大致是什么样的

According to your experience, what is capability in a corporate environment?

You said that the most useful knowledage and capbility  are those enable you standing out in a company.

However, no one is a superman with all sorts of capabilities.

You work in an engineering company with all the engineering expertise, while those who can climb corprate ladder really fast do not even know what is engneering.

Does that mean they are more capable than you? I reckon that it is just a different skill set.

No excuse, however, luck sometimes can play a significant part in human life.

And you also menion that the ability to be able to stand out among crowds is coming naturally.

I do not agree. You can learn solid technical skills and you can also learn people skills through life.

I do not like the term ' naturally born with'.

One can be succussful in his early twenties, others may be able to shine when they are 50.

Too may examples to list here.

In conclusion, some people may learn so much through doing a MBA. MBA can be one of the tools for some people to learn those soft skills. Even a MBA education did not bring you a success right after, it is worthy the experience doing something you are passionated about. I alwasy think doing a MBA is a investment to yourself. The investment may give you a high return or be a complete loss. You are an adult, you take the responsibility and risk.

MBA可以让你快速的积累在商业领域的知识，可以给你提高一个更广阔的平台和一些机会。

有时候有些人不能达到一定职位，并不是它不具备这样的能力，而是他缺乏一个平台，一个机会。
我现在做项目管理。但在我可预见的未来，这样一直走下去，现在跳槽，会是高级经理，过几年项目总监.....
但我相信我的能力和见识，可以在其他领域发展，比如 BD, 企业运营管理...，但我现在的路会越来越被我现在的职能所”框“住，使我没有多少机会去从事商业决策，企业运营方面的职位。
但一个合适的MBA可以给我提供这样的一个机会，因为它会把你原来固有的”框“打松，甚至打碎了，使我能获得更多的发展平台。

MBA不能雪中送炭，但确定在适时的时候进行锦上添花。
潜质不行的人，在MBA获得不到什么，也别指望获得什么，我就见过哈佛毕业的MBA现在依旧写代码，你相信吗？！

好吧，LOSER，哈哈，希望你多找些像我这样的LOSER送到我客户这里来。
我在来到客户这里，在我初来三个月里时间里，客户两个总监跟我谈了3次要挖我过去，而我现在是IBM在客户这里上百个顾问里面，仅有的几个被客户授予实权管理客户部门的人，我现在是客户的一个部门的副总负责人，主要负责本部门的产品战略，和全部的项目，团队管理，总负责人负责技术攻关，他们自己的人。

但我也去MBA，当然，也是你眼中的LOSER。

在很多人眼里，上司永远是愚蠢的，同事永远是狡诈的，客户永远是难缠的，公司管理永远是混乱的，在这家公司永远是没前途的。能救他出水深火热的，他也想不出来别的，好像也就只有神乎其神、闪着金光的MBA了。

I respect my bosses, most of them, not all. They are intelligent. I can also spot the strength from my colleagues. We are clients to most companies, so I do not know much about clients. The company i work for is acyually managed very well. Share price is rising all the time, lol.

I still think of doing a MBA. just something different. Having said that, it does not mean I will definitely do it. I will go for another better opportunity if there is one.

You always go extreme, thinking everyone here is unrealistic dreamer or loser

坦白而尖锐地说，这不是dreamer，这是loser。能拯救你的生活、引领你的人生的，只有踏踏实实、埋下头来，努力工作、拼命工作，好好做人，极度忍耐，与公司、领导、同事融为一体，不抱怨、不贪心，与公司共命运，与上司共发展。拼命工作，能净化人的灵魂，和谐你与这个世界的关系。而mba，可有可无。

To be honest, if I were the boss, I would prefer employees like this. Unfortunately, the world is not filled with people like this. It is almost perfect human being to behave like that. You sound like utopian.
