It is not clear. 这道题就类似于： I regularly deposit some of my wages into an account intended to sustain my tuition after entering MBA. 这句话这么看，问题就很明显了。从逻辑上entering的主语应该是我。但是从句子结构上看， an account [intended to sustain my tuition (after entering MBA)] 这里仿佛entering的主语是account。所以不合逻辑。 你对比一下after falling那道题，是不是falling的主语很明显啊？

D> The construction in D is "fund intended to sustain the state’s economy after exhausting its oil reserves , or fund + participle phrase after (fund+) participle phrase. " fund intended to sustain the state's economy" makes sense. "fund exhausting its oil reserve" doesn't make sence. So D is out.
