One of the most difficult tasks in the world is to know someone. You may meet many people, however, you probably do not know them. Do they have some secret personalities? What has they been through? And etc. There might be hundreds of ways to figure out the answers and from my perspective, we can learn a lot about someone from his/her friends.
Since two people or a brunch of people are friends, they somewhat share something in common otherwise people will feel reserved when they are staying together. Confronting with all kinds of pressures or complexities everyday, sometimes we tend to hide some part of ourselves from others. For examle, I have a roommate who looks like a quite and sweet girl at first sight, however after I met her friends who got a lot of tatoos and colorful hairs I find that she is not as compliant as she looks like. Finally, we became close friend after I invited her to go to a rock music festival. In fact, from a person’s friend we could extrapolate some misterious part of him and thus know him better.
Friends are those who have been through a lot with you no matter what it is and their story contained some of yours. Especially those terrible memories. We all know that those who fighted together at a battle are tight friends.Even some of them act really positive and strong like nothing ever happened to them, however, from their friends and what they talk about you can still feel the horrible pain in their mind. With a better understanding of someone’s past, you can definitely know more about him.
Admittedly, from a person’s friends what we can learn is very few and limited, however, it does not make it a bad or inappropriate way to know someone better. After all, we do not write everything on face.
In a word, someone’s friend can prove some imformation that we hardly know and knowing them could be benificial in a friendship for whatever it’s worth. |
