Thanks my future classmates, I finally recieved the package, and as expected no scholarship.

I just scanned the admission letter and found that "As a precondition to enrollment, you are required to attend the English Language Institute at the University of Michigan. The institute offers a summer class entitled "English for Business Studiese..."

Does that mean I must join the ELI program which will start on June 28? How is your situation? I am afraid I cannot be ready to leave so early......

The valid date for my passport will be over on May 27 2007, is this long enough to cover the whole MBA program 2007? Shall I renew my passport now? I heard that the valid period of passport must be at least 6 months longer than the stay?

When did you register your recommendars? Before you submit your application on line? or after you submit whole application, then reigister recommendar?

Also, when did your recommendar submit their recommendation letters? Before you submitted application, or after?

as soon as you have created ur online account, you can register your recommenders. and Yes, before you submit your application online.

Also, when did your recommendar submit their recommendation letters? Before you submitted application, or after?

No, it's not enough to cover the whole program, because you need to have at least 6 months to keep your passport validate and apply for the renewal. However, you don't need to renew it now. You can renew it in Chicago, it won't take you more than an hour to renew it.

Yes, it means that you must join the program unless you can't make it, e.g. you can't get the visa on time or other issues prevent you from coming here...

不会每年都改的，但是adcom在不断改进essay的题目，也就是意味着大的变动很少，小的改动会有。但是基本上都离不开那几个大的问题 why MBA, why Michigan, your professional accomplishments...
