题目:"Both the developmentof technological tools and the uses to which humanity has put them have createdmodern civilizations in which loneliness is ever increasing."

Do you remember the old days whenwe were young? When I was a little girl, I don’t know what an ipad is. At thesweet old times, I spend all the childhood outside with my friends. We caughtsmall insects and animals in the yard, went swimming in the pool and readfairytales on paper books. We laughed, sung, and danced. However, the conditionof children nowadays is far different from mine. When today’s children get together, they take out their ipads or iphones and slide their fingers on them, seldomspeaking a single word to each other and fixing their eyes on the screen. Andthis thing does not only happened among children but also occurred amongadults.

The common definition of lonelinesswill go as not communicating with others. However, to find the truth of whetherthe loneliness is increasing among civilians is not as simple as to find aplate in the cupboard.

At the surface of the thing, thiskind of situation is called loneliness by most of people. According to thedefinition and the appearance of the things, one can find that people don’tcommunicate with person beside them. They sink themselves to the world of Facebook,Twitter and Linked-in. They can argue really fiercely on the internet withstrangers and make them friends but fair to say a single hello to them whenfinally encounter them in reality. It seems that people are beginning to beshier in the real world. People nowadays lack direct face-to-face communicating, which includes touch, or embrace. Body contact is very significant in one’semotional life. A survey conducted by a professor, Hua Li, in Peking University, indicates that if a person got enough caress in his childhood, he is 21.5% morelikely than person who didn’t to act legally all his life.

However, when thinking on theother side of things, one may find that the lack of body contact actually cannotsettle the assertion about the development and uses of technological tools.Although people communicate with each other face-to-face less, they communicatewith more people than people did in the past. The life nowadays is surely more convenientthan life in the old days. The technological tools are already part of our lives. It is very hard for us to lead a life without the technological tools, or inanother word, our lives are kidnapped by the technology. What we can do now insuch a passive condition, in which we cannot fully escaped from the technology,is that we should control ourselves not to be addicted with the internet, useit efficiently, and in the meantime, not disconnect with friends and families inreal worlds.

To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, which may integrate as a whole to function better than anysingle of them, I would like to say that in face of the lure of electronicproducts, what we should do is not to blame the products, even though theychanged our lives into a worse way in some aspects, but is to adapt to the lifefull of technology and take full advantage of the technology, while not losethe pure happiness of life.

谢谢大家。。

第二段可以简洁一点,再加一段what is more..看上去就更丰满了。
