Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?Television has destroyed communication among friends and family ,use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion

   
     For this statement， different people hold different views

due to their own experience.Some people consider that the

television is harmful to communicate（这里有么有用错啊） with friends and

family,because sometimes the TV programs are so attractive

that people even don't want anyone to talk to them（bother them 是不是更好？） , but The

others hold an opposite opinion according to their owm

reasons.For me,i also disagree the title statement.The

following  discussions will support my perspective

   Now a days,television becomes more and more popular in our

daily lie.Most of the time,an interesting TV program has a
         
magic power to gather friends or family together to share their

enjoyment ,happiness and excitement.One good example is the

just passing Olympic Games.people,whatever known or

unknown（这句话总感觉不对）,gathered together to watch  games,communicate mind and

share excitment. They are laughing ,tearing and thinking at

the same time with the process of the game.The fantastic

communication occured because of the exitence of the

television.
   
   In some other places,television also strengthens the

communication among friends and family. No matter how eager

the people are ,a successful communication acquired at least one

common topic（想说无论人们多么渴望交流，必须先有一个共同的话题，不知怎么表达才好） ,and television can provide such topics.These

days,people gain news from the television more or

less.therefore one can select some topics gained from TV

programs to communicate with others.
   
   As the above given reasons,i will confirm that television

has not destoryed communication among friends and family.It is

a blessing rather than a curse.

Television is a main entertainment in people’s life. As more and more people find watching television interesting and relaxing, critics are concerned that communication among people is undermined by television. I disagree with this point of view. In effect, television facilitates our communication in three aspects.
First of all, television provides the opportunity for families and friends to get together. Nowadays fierce competition prods people in all walks of life to work harder. There are few opportunities for families and friends to get together. Watching television thus becomes an inevitable occasion for get-together. After meals, families sit together on the couch to enjoy their private time. Some programs on show are so interesting that people with similar tastes set their time apart especially for the program. They exchange ideas while watching television.
In addition, television provides people with their chatting topics. Not thing in the world is more appealing than to discuss one’s beloved program with a friend or family. During the South Africa’s FIFA World Cup, boys and girls involve in animated discussions about the games. They exchange their ideas about players, expressing excitement and disappointment. Not only in particular times do people discuss about television programs, but also in daily life. Girls mostly focus on super stars while boys on sport players.
Finally, television improves our communication skills. A person who routinely watches television programs shows a more acute sense about language than those who seldom watch. That is because television often shows people chatting and interacting with each other. By watching these programs, the audiences learn how to communicate efficiently and effectively.
Admittedly, watching television occupies most of the spare time that would other wise spent on talking. However, more time for communication dose not automatically lead to a pleasant atmosphere for exchanging. Television lubricates exchanges among people and brings more joys to communication.
To sum up, it is unreasonable to say that television damages people’s communication. The fact is that, watching television provides both the opportunities and topics for communication. Television also enhances people’s communication skills by showing vivid examples.
