When the children education is mentioned, there comes the question: Is watching TV good or bad for children? Some people hold that watching tv is harmful for children. I can hardly agree on the opinion completely. For me, I personally belive that the tv shows should be choosed carefully for children. The following reasons are emplored to support my opinion.
It's important to choose tv shows carefully for children. There are many intreresting and instructive tv shows which are very helpful for children's growth. Those good tv shows can help children improve phsycologic health.When i was a child, i watched the cartoon Hero Robinson. Robin was a brave and honest man. I leared many good characteristics from him, and became a brave girl.
On the other hand, the negative effects of watching tv should be taken into acount. Nowadays there are many voilence and sex in tv programes. It's harmful for children to watch such kinds of tv shows.
Additionally, spending too much time on watching tv will infulence children's study. As resent report says: 80% children get lower grades in their exams due to the time they spend on watching tv.
To sum up, I personally suggest that the parents should choose tv shows for children carefully, encouraging them watching good tv programes and avoiding providing them with bad tv shows.I also suggest that the tv programe producor should provide more interesting and instructive shows for the children in our society or even all over the world.
