Hi Derman,
Really appreciate all you anwsers. You're superbe!
I'd like to know if it's extrumely difficult for chinese to join a consulting cabinet in France?
Since now I'm doing an internship in Deloitte consulting and I'd like to choose the major "financial information, audit, conseil"later in HEC, so just wanna know if it's that hard. I'm a french major here, but still feel not used to reading in French.
BTW, if you like, can u talk a little bit about the major I mentioned? Is it easy to find a job? Since one of my biggest concerns is to stay in France.

The difference between these two programs lies on the setup & curriculum. Job search is more luck dependent.

Alright, it's hard for Chinese to join consulting firm, given the barrier of language/ culture. But it's doable, and some people do. Sorry, I have no clue about the major you mentioned, it's pretty far away from what I specialize .

I found that most of the applicants would prefer finance, consulting, MKT or luxury when they were asked the career path issue in the SAI/ESSEC interviews. Is there anything else we could answer?? Shall we make it specific (like derivative trader) or general (like finance industry) or somewhere in between?

Nope，it's quite popular among French people. just not that easy for Chinese to break in.

Well, I don't quite get what you mean. If you want to do finance, then tell the interviewer you wanna do finance, if you want pursue luxury career, just tell them straight forward you want luxury.

You are gonna impress the interviewer by giving them some answer they haven't expected? like NGO? If NGO is what you want, then fine, but don't even try to surprise your interviewer by telling them something not true (like telling them you want to go to Africa to help fundraising but in fact you want to go to London for IBanking), be honest to yourself & your interviewers.  

It's helpful to tell them specific thing, but be mindful here, please make sure you are sufficiently familiar with the position you mention and have basic knowledge about the job. Telling them you want to do Investment banking but are not able to walk them through DCF will make yourself look like idiot, it would be even worse than telling them you are just generally interested in Finance.

我是国内211会计硕士，3年审计工作经验，今年想申请法国留学，但是没有法语基础。现在很纠结2个方向，一个是MBA（finance方向），一个是旅游管理的master。

咨询过中介，他们都说可以申高商的旅游管理，也说就业很好，不知道是不是被他们给忽悠了，最主要是他们想要我这个月就报名申请，不然明年的来不及，可是我看论坛上大家都9,10月才投简历。。。
朋友们都说我没有相关的工作经验，读旅游管理纯属浪费时间和精力，而且年龄也大了，都不建议我去读。。。
之所以选择旅游管理仅仅是自己的喜好，旅游管理专业是法国的传统优势项目，我以后也想从事旅游咨询，策划相关的工作，比审计工作有趣多了，哈哈，而且学finance，财务的人真心很多。。。

你了解法国旅游管理专业的学习和就业情况吗？可能我的想法比较幼稚，求指导。从现在开始学法语，到明年入学有1年多时间学法语，能达到基本交流吗？加上去了法国以后继续练法语，到找实习的时候能否通过？

Grande Ecole programs are broad programs having all things mixed. I haven't heard any school (at least for Parisien schools) has a tourism industry oriented program. Possible solution is you can find an internship in tourism company the second year, and start from there.

(SKEMA may have one travelling/tourism management one, not sure).

If you are interested in this and are committed to it, why not just follow what you want? Finance, yeh, can be pretty boring. I personally think audit is the most boring job in the world. my $2cents
