我认为应该用ing形式。
1、to do 表示目的
2、doing和entering形式上更平行（不肯定这条是否成立，但我认为句子结构这样看起来更舒服）

to do表示目的, doing sth表示陈述一件事情.这里应该是后者的意思,做一件事情会有什么样的后果

doing 并不是为了和后面平行,

应该是习惯用法, reward sb for doing sth

我认为：分词和不定式都可以做主语．不用不定式的原因就是因为不定式后面没有用ＳＯ．如２楼所说．

个人观点，首先不可以一上来就用所谓的时态原因把AB排除了，这里的would表示一种可能性，而不是过去时，一般现在时可在表达客观事实的时候可以和过去时连用。

这里用so的是否应用是可以排除掉其它的干扰选项。

不定式确实可以做主语，不过在GMAT中一般采取形式主语的方式把不定式放在后面（It be...to do）。
