It's normal. I've got old GRE 2130/2400. But when I take first trial of GMAT, I've only 570. After 4 months preparation, I have only got 620. Then the third trial, I've got 720.  Gmat don't require vocabularies so many as GRE do. But reading comprehension is more difficult than the GRE one, more ambiguous choices. The math part is in the same case. We are strong at math, however we are liable to fall in the traps. GMAT is not difficult but full of traps! Just as biz, there are traps everywhere in biz. Everyone can do biz, but not every one can do biz well.  So you should prepare well.

额 不知道为嘛您要用英文 额 国内论坛 我还是用中文回您吧  首先 您说的GRE的词汇量确实是比GMAT要大 杂 但是您说GMAT的阅读比GRE难  我就不认同了 可能您考的是之前的GRE  现在GRE都改革几轮了 所以我不知道您那会儿的经验之谈现在还是否适用。而且我个人的弱项 虽然VERBAL只有那么点 但是我觉得我弱的还是数学。不过我的考试准备确实不够 而且一次也没摸过 考试流程也不懂 谢谢您的建议 短期内不打算考了 本来就是一时兴起要转专业  庆幸的是申请时没有孤注一掷 还是先把本专业申请了。

谢谢 鼓励 近期应该不考了 出国一直折腾了这么久也想休息一阵儿了 托福 GRE 再到各种实习 交换 再到自己DIY各种申请 再到突然想考GMAT  我也有些累了。。谢谢啦~

GMAT还真的不是考词汇量的...建议多去看看了解一下GMAT到底是考什么的再备战考试，不然效果不好。
