the article starts with the bad ethics showing in the dating show "if u r the one", stating it reflects the reality so much, thus party pushes censoring on the show.
then it talks about how party censors tv programs, new policy that no ads in the middle of the shows, limited number of shows at prime time, requires shows broadcasting traditional china virtues, etc. and the agency that's pushing the policies are close to cctv, and cut lose on cctv, remit part of what cctv has to pay. some people argue that all the policies are to prosper cctv.
back to "if u r the one", jiangsu satellite tv station tries very hard to keep it at the prime time during weekend, because this show brings in over 80% of the ads fees.
