怎么DENY答案C呢？题目中有一个条件说的是 new government restrictions on the use of laceName w:st="on">DavisonlaceName> laceType w:st="on">RiverlaceType> water for irrigation,说明限制对于winter wheat的产量影响较大。那么选项C中说spring wheat更适应soil，所以restriciton on water的影响会比较小。though not for spring wheat，是什么意思？是说restrictions not for spring wheat还是per acre yields for winter wheat，有人解释一下语法吗？

The question is asking for an evidence that can support the conclusion.  This is a variation of assumption question.  You can try deny test.

Deny A, we get "the smaller-than-average size of a winter wheat harvest this year would be compensated for by higher winter wheat prices".  If so, the conclusion "planting spring wheat will be more profitable than planting winter wheat" will fall apart.  Therefore, A is an necessary evidence -- A is the best answer.

为什么说是assumption题型的变体啊？是因为问原因吗？还是有其他什么特征？

我不是NN,插一句话.个人理解..

这个题目好像就是传说中的"not+weaken"题了.

把A中的not捂住不看.就变成了."今年小产量的冬麦将会被明年冬麦更高的卖出价所补偿了".那样当然就可以种冬麦了..这样就变成了对原文的削弱了..

所以选A咯..

这道题我倒是明白，但是profitalble真的是不包括cost么？。。哪位NN来解答一下

呵呵看到题干的时候我就想好答案了.结果没我的答案...

如果选项里面有说春麦对灌溉用水比较少. 也可以作为答案.....

答案：因为结论是比较两种麦的收益。其他选项都和两者的收益无关。只有A。A说冬麦卖的价格高点，但顶不了产量的减少。春麦的收益还是要好点。

建议：对原文意思的理解，要以原文为依托，不能猜，特别是逻辑题。冬麦价格就是冬麦价格，不是种子。

it is so obvious, the answer is "A". why? consider this, the question said plaining winter wheat and spring wheat are equally profitable. so,  winter wheat price * winter wheat yield=spring wheat price * spring wheat yeild. if the winter wheat yield falls, the higher price should make up the losses,  however, when higher price cannot compensate the loss of yield, than plaining spring wheat will be profitable.
