i just visited York campus, and it looks a little bit messy because of roads construction.

This school is crazy for money, and i even didn't find a visitor parking lot. you have to pay 9 dollar no matter how long you park. my friends told me they have to pay $100 /m parking fee, as much as double general fees outside campus.

is that mean business schools try their best to squeeze money from students?

I don't know everything at York. But you can definately find a parking garage where you only pay by half an hour. However, the hourly rate is 2.5 dollars. The garage is right inside Schulich-Kellogg building. For the parking permit, it costs from 75 to 100 dollars per month, depending on whether it is in a garage or it is reserved. I wish that I could find a free parking. But, it is impossible. So I will try to find a $75/h rate.

Interview questions:

TEAM WORK: I guess team work in the business school is as important as in the business world. That's why I was asked several questions on this topic. "What do you think of team work?" " How would you contribute to building a team?" " What if some one of your team doesn't do his or her own work?" ...

There are 2 behavioral questions in the interviews. I am still not sure why it was asked, although I do have my own perspectives on which my answers are based. Now, I would like to get your thoughts before I give my answers at the interview.

QUESTIOIN No 1: " You are waiting for the elevator. It stopps, people inside are looking at you. What will you do?"

QUESTION No 2: " What's your favorite TV show?"

My questions for you guys: 1), Why was the questions asked? 2), What will you answer?

MY ANSWERS TO THE BEHAVIOURAL QUESTIONS:

1, "I would step back and give the passengers a way out of elevator." "What if nobody comes out? And they are still looking at you?" A following questions was asked. "Then I will ask: up or down. If it is in the same direction, I would step in and close the door."

2, " My favorite TV show is NBC's comedian Jay's program. He is very funny. I really like his show." (I forgot his last name.) "Jay Leno?" "Yes." (Ha haaaaaa, I don't know his last name, more exactly. But I guesses it must be his.)

The tuition for York's MBA is skyrocketing. I was told that the school wants its tuition to catch up with its repution. The school thinks it was too low, compared to that of the comparable schools. And it is believed to hike more the year after.

谢谢Snazzy，还有一个关于学费的问题。就是如果我明年春季入学，是不是按照2004-2005的收，而且每个TERM都是8750刀，还是明年的TERM就要增长到11250刀呀？问题太多了：)本来还以为YORK 的学费不高，看来已经超出预算了。如果能赶上明年春季就好了，不过缺少Snazzy的实力，心里实在是没底呀。

Hi, weiwait. AS far as I know, you can enjoy $8750 for at least one term if you can be admitted for Jan. However, you have to check out with the school and see how it will be in the 2nd one. But don't worry, the bank will help you with any shortfall. Please let me know if I can be any help. Just be confident, it's very important. + uuuu, you will get it.
