i applied for Rotman last year but I rejected this school cos 1) their career service really really really sucks. my friend complained a lot about their career office. 2) their general management, marketing and consulting are all so-so, I prefer Ivey than Rotman actually. Even they said their financeis excellent, but the truth is that their job hunting in financefield is also so-so. 3) I felt their admission office is not professional at all. At the very begining, they made a mistake in my phone-number, and then they made a mistake in my name!!
I think, for GMAT, 690+ is enough, actually, some Chinese candidates with PR in CA only have 640-660. for GPA, 3.4+ is enough.
不客气哦,如果你真的想搞Finance, CFA 是有用的. However, to become a CFA Charterholder is a long way. All three levels of the CFA examinations must be successfully completed. In addition, YOU MUST have four years of qualified investment work experience.
谢谢Vicki回复。没有把CFA想的简单,也没有不现实,呵呵,只是话语轻松了点而已。身边有几个同事在考三级,也知道有Rotman的校友已经有了CFA,不了解那边行情,特此发问. Research is needed anyway. Thanks a lot for your advice!
