以前是，后来我转学到本部了
并且宁波诺丁汉也挺好的，我们一个朋友直接被牛津录取了

GMAT作文一般都不看，lz是不是少了math课程呢，这方面Oxford 很看重的

我本科就是financial accounting and management的
学过statistics, matrix, probability, calculus，quantitative methods一堆的都学过啊。。。我真心难过啊

看了一下我感觉软肋在这里吧~`课程看着基本都是管理学学的，mfe毕竟不算很管理吧~`另外就是programming修了么~？修了几门？lz的背景申请msf是大有优势，可是mfe的话就有点扬短避长了~`

分析无道理 这个MFE等于financial economics，  不是financial engineering。

I think there may be two reasons for your Rej. First, which is the most shortage of you is you are from Ningbo Nottingham, which in my opinion is totally different from Nottinghan University. Second, as mentioned, maybe MSF or MBA is more suitable for you than MFE. LZ, just try other top shools, at least one of them will accept you. Good luck!

It is LZ NN"s shortage. If LZ is from the University of Nottingham, she will be accepted with no doubt, just in my own opinion.

我也是宁诺的，跟LZ同个专业，我不觉得这是短板，LZ是刚从宁诺转到本部的，而我们学校今天刚有个大牛被牛津MFE直接录取的，所以我觉得是本部还是分校并不是特别重要，如果硬要说LZ有缺陷的话我觉得是经济学和数学背景不够，因为我们专业基本没什么高级点得数学课程，都比较水，我们学校被牛津直接录取的那个本来就是经济学专业的，而且成绩很高。
