As there's an essay this year requiring 3 set-backs, I'm quite unclear how Harvard define "set-backs". How dramatical it should be?
I think that I should overcome the set-backs and learn through the expereince. But if I easily overcame them, can they still be considered as set-backs?
For early career applicant, is there any recommendations?

I have questions for all three HBS students:
How do you view the outdated essay samples we found online versus the real ones that you guys submitted recently? Is there any new tricks and would you please share the most useful tricks in your understanding?

I have questions for Yili Lin since my background is similar. In this area, what kind of quality or traits have better chance to impress adcom? Do you know how many competitors you were facing to, who and how competitive they were? What do you think make you stand out of the pool?
