Actually I'm quite interested in how many PKU/THUers are gonna apply for MIT this yr?Heard quite a few...
I guess for Chinese,our competitors are mainly within China...SO....
And学长once said our school is competitve enough,but still not sure how it compares to top 2 in msf application.

Last year 9 PKUers got offer in MIT. 7 with corporate finance background and 2 with quantitive. Both 2 with quant background reject MIT at last.

At last we are in  "target school" list. And be well prepared for the interview...

Do not apply for 2nd tier school.
If you are rejected, just 延毕 and travel around the world. The degree in Rochester or BU is totally worthless for you. This will only make people curious about your performance in FDU--- That you go to these school proves that you have weak point.

Your subjective values biased your judgement, I know quite a few FDUers studying for the "totally worthless degrees" in your mind.

PS: Please be careful to twist your tongues by speaking a mixture of English and Chinese. If you speak to a foreigner like this, they will get confused, so will the Chinese. haha...

I don't say UR is worthless for all FDUers, but for LZ it's really worthless.
People go to US for different reasons. For experience, for exposure, for immigration and etc. But if you just want to strengthen your resume, or to be specific go to IB, a master degree in a 2nd-tier school cannot be a bonus.
