E中的it和its指的不是同一个东东吧，第2个it出现在sth makes it possible that从句结构，所以偶觉得此处it是作形式宾语，真正的宾语为that从句

But is there any evidence which can support your conclusion in OG ? I have not found such evidence, and according to Baiyong's instruction, "with it -ing" is acceptable under GMAT while "prep+one's doing" is wrong. Maybe he is wrong, can you or other NN can explain why?Thanks again!

我觉得according to应该不存在逻辑主语问题吧，当然c的另一个错误我知道，就是对according to不解．
