yeah, right ... like they are going to let it go that easily .....

you could say that the economy sucks right now, not easy to find a job w/o GC or sth like that; or better yet, you could say you are embarking on a new journey in the US, you are re-adjusting your goal and re-calibrate your like， sth in that vein。 Be positive .....

F2, so you are not allowed to work. but you can do a lot of other things. Eg. involve youself into the community. of course, travelling to learn more about american culture is also ok, I think.
