(2) In the survey, 288 men said that they considered engaging in research an essential goal.

答案选A。 但小弟愚钝没想明白。有劳各位大牛解答！

题目中说1400个被调查的老师中42%的人说他们搞研究是有目标，问有多少女老师被调查？而（1）说调查中36%的男老师和50%的女老师认为自己搞研究有目标。怎么（1）单独就满足了呢？

令1400中男性为X，女性为Y。X+Y=1400,36%X+50%Y=1400*0.42
