这题好诡异啊，有NN给看看吗？
个人支持 large amount of big changes in  the anti-inflammtery agent...., despite

两个选项把 big去掉，不对吧；
though 不对；
despite its看着别扭，没指代吧。

问题是这个 despite being expensive 修饰会有歧义吗？
看过一题 “，despite” 是在修饰主语的：大全206

首先，a large amount of在GMAT语法中，只能加不可数。
至于原句中，change应作变革解，不能做变化，即不能recomment（推荐）变化！

看了下 longman, change (n) 的一个意思，既是可数 也是不可数。。。。
