A，rate的比较对象成了美国，比较对象不等，应该是that of the United States
C. 仍然是比较对象不对等，左边是法国人民，那右边当然也应该是美国人民咯
D。成了the rate of fat foods，因为consumed成了定语去修饰food，我感觉在这里rate是一个很动态的词汇，如果句子变成这种结构的话应该用percentage代替rate。
E。the noun+of doing的典型错误

咳……如果consuming修饰people，那不就成了the rate of people了么，跟the rate of fat foods 有啥区别……而且although前后两个句子句式的平行只能判断谁更favorable，不是绝对的incorrect
